Albert Wilhelm Junge, 90, of Deshler, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.
He was born on August 7, 1928 in Hamler, to Carl and Minna (Stockman) Junge. On October 23, 1955 he married Marie (Panning) Junge and she preceded him in death December 12, 2016.
Albert served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Junge Milk Hauling before partnering with his son, Harlan as Junge & Son.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler, lifetime member of Hamler American Legion Post #262 and VFW Post #8847, New Bavaria.
He is survived by children, Bonnie (Keith) Settlemire; Harlan Junge; Barbara Junge; Mark Junge; daughter-in-law, Abby Junge; 5 grandchildren, Jillian Settlemire; Chelsea Palmer; Andrew (Stephanie) Junge; Nichole (Robbie) Turner; Taylor Junge; 5 great grandchildren, Makayla; Landon; Isabella; Korbin; Kaiser; sisters, Elnora Hohenbrink; Luella Olhrich; and brother, Harold (Vicki) Junge.
He was also preceded in death by son, Weldon; sisters, Anna Pickering; Edna Phillips; Olga Schwiebert, Arleta Panning and brother, Martin Junge.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler with Rev. Keith Hunsinger officiating. Military honors will follow and then a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m., Tuesday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and 10-11 a.m., Wednesday at church.
