   Carol Ann Schwiebert, 74, of Deshler, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her sister's residence in New Bavaria.
   She was born May 29, 1944 in Richfield Township, Henry County to the late Carl and Clara (Hoops) Schwiebert.  She was proud to have remained in the home she was born in her entire life.
   Carol was a 1962 graduate of Deshler High School and worked for the Peper Law Office of Napoleon as a legal aide for over 55 years.  She was dedicated to her profession and well known for her presence at the law firm.
   She was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler.  She enjoyed doing needlework and had a close bond with her sister's  over her lifetime that involved many shopping trips and memorable times together.
   Carol is survived by a sister, Elaine (Thomas) Hohenberger; nieces and nephews; Julia Hafner; Stephen (Sarah) Panning; Kevin (Michele) Panning; Catherine (Dustin) Feller, Mark (Tracey) Schwiebert; Jackie Schwiebert; Sheri (Bob) Mack; and many great nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Panning; brother, Willis Schwiebert; nephew, Matthew Schwiebert and niece, Kristen Panning.
   Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Monday at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. James Wenger officiating.  Interment is in the church cemetery and a fellowship luncheon will follow.
   Visitation is 3-8 p.m., Sunday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and 10-11 a.m. Monday at church.
   Donations are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
