Joey Earl Scott McCance
November 11, 1976 - August 19, 2019

   Joey Earl Scott McCance, 42, of Deshler, Ohio passed away early Monday morning, August 19, 2019 at Defiance Mercy Hospital, Defiance, Ohio.
   He was born on November 11, 1976 in Wauseon, Ohio to William and Patricia (LeVeck) McCance.
   Joey graduated from Patrick Henry High School and then spent many years working at Quadco.  He was active with the SAS Program with Hope Services of Henry County.
   Joey was such a big part of his family and was adored as a son, brother and uncle.  With his father driving and his mother by his side, he spent many years making memories in a semi-truck traveling across the country.  In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR, Wheel of Fortune and Ed, Edd and Eddy on the television.  When the TV was off, you could find him listening to his rock-and-roll music.  He will be remembered for always being in a good mood, his love of M & M's and his visits to Walmart. 
   He is survived by his mother, Patricia; brothers, William "Bill" (Kim) McCance, Pendleton, Indiana; Dick (Sherry) McCance, Deshler; sisters, Susan (Edward) Davis, Perrysburg, Ohio; Charlotte (Tim) Smith, Deshler; Holly (Brad) Reiter, Deshler; and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his father, William McCance; infant sister, Diana and nephew, Austin McCance.
   Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Rev. Douglas DeWitt officiating.  Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. prior to the services.
