   Mark Lynn Yarnell, 58, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Illinois.
   He was the first son of Richard and Annabelle (Smith) Yarnell, born on November 16, 1961 in Bowling Green, Ohio.  
   Mark was a 1980 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and furthered his education studying at The University of Toledo; Broward College in Florida; Florida Atlantic University and Truman College of Chicago.  He was an avid reader and loved all sorts of books.  This passion led him to a career as a book purchaser and distributor.  His last employment was as a product manager for Levy Home Entertainment in Chicago.
   He was raised in Deshler and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Throughout his moves and travels, he remained a Christian and man of faith.  Over the years, he loved and cared for many pet dogs and was a true fan of Dolly Parton. 
   He is survived by is mother, Annabelle; brothers, Ron (Carla) Yarnell, Deshler; Dave (Hope) Yarnell, Deshler; nieces and nephews, Megan (Todd) Miller; Brian (Taylor) Yarnell; Brad (Katie) Yarnell; Eric (Karly) Yarnell; Krista Yarnell and great nieces and nephews, Hadley; Lucy; Hayes; Layken; Brody; Tenleigh; Brooks; Jola; Reese; Eli; Emersyn and Theodore.
   He was preceded in death by his father, Richard on September 7, 2014.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Fr. Art Niewiadomski officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
   Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
   The family suggests memorials to Deshler Edwin Wood Memorial Library or the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
