   Adolfo G. Noriega, 71, of Belmore, Ohio died Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Promedica Toledo Hospital.
   He was born March 12, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Jesus and Paula (Garza) Noriega.
   On July 14, 1973 he married Carmen Hinojosa and they have shared over 51 years together.
   Adolph worked for 34 years at General Motors, Defiance, Ohio.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler and a social member of the Deshler American Legion Post #316 and Eagles, Ottawa, Ohio.  
   He was an avid card player and preferred Euchre over all games.  Over the years, he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, playing tickets at the social clubs and spending most of his time outdoors.  He will be remembered for having a generous heart, good sense of humor, his kind friendship and his love for his family.
   He is survived by his wife, Carmen; three daughters, Melissa Noriega; Michelle (Brent) Wensink; Christina (Timothy) Urivez; six grandchildren, Mia; Javin; Jasmyn; Savannah; Santiago; Jax; four brothers, Arnulfo "Arnie" Noriega; Armando (Maria) Noriega; Reynaldo "Rey" Noriega; Raul Noriega and a sister, Olga (Eduviges) Escobedo.
   He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Xavier and Aidan Wensink; seven brothers, Macario; Jesus; Robert; Ricardo; Ruben; Rolando; Ernesto and sister, Dalia Noriega.
   A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler with Fr. Art Niewiadomski officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m.
   Memorials are suggested to the Xavier and Aidan Wensink Memorial Fund or the Deshler American Legion.
