Antonio "Woodchuck" Cortez, Jr.
February 20, 1977 - April 30, 2023

   Antonio "Woodchuck" Cortez, Jr., 46, of McComb, Ohio passed away Sunday night, April 30, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio.
   He was born February 20, 1977 in Naples, Florida to the late Antonio S. "Tony" and Yolanda (Lugo) Cortez. 
   Antonio will be remembered for his love for his family.  He was often the one to bring life to a family gathering or party with his jokes and clowning around.  Sometimes it was just him being himself and other times it may have been his Apple Crown Royal.  He enjoyed fishing, cook-outs and was an avid collector of Peanut M & M memorabilla.  He will forever be called "Woodchuck" or "Uncle Woody".
   He is survived by a daughter, Micheala Clement; his special companion and Michaela's mother, Kelly Clement; his beloved German Shephard, Nala; four brothers, Henry Esquivel; Alex (Kay) Cortez; Johnny (Phyllis) Cortez; Larry Cortez; many aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews he referred to as "his brats", extended family and dear friends.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Kelly Cortez.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.  Burial will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore, Ohio.
   Visitation is from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Friday prior to the services at the funeral home.
   Memorials are suggested to the family.
