Arnold E. Schwiebert
August 15, 1918 - April 21, 2020

   Arnold Edward Schwiebert, age 101, of Hamler, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.  He was born to the late Ferdinand and Mary (Wiebeck) Schwiebert on August 15, 1918.  He married Doris Louise (Rosebrook) Schwiebert on August 18, 1940 at St. John Lutheran Church Deshler, Ohio.  Doris preceded Arnold in death in July 2001.  They were married nearly 61 years.  Arn later married Betty (Seedorf) Schwiebert in October 2002 and she preceded Arn in death in June 2005.  He also was preceded in death by his three brothers; George; Albert; and Paul Schwiebert.
   Arn enjoyed farming, repairing machinery, carpentry, and being a drainage contractor for over 50 years.  He saw amazing advancements in farming throughout his lifetime from plowing with horses to steam engines to laser.  He loved being outdoors and life in general.  His personality reflected his Christian attitude toward life in all that he did.  
   Arnold is survived by his children, Roger (Margaret) Schwiebert, Hamler, Ohio; Stillborn son Schwiebert; Dennis (Jacqulin) Schwiebert, Hamler, Ohio; Diana (Schwiebert) Jeffery Salisbury, Findlay, Ohio; and Mark (Donna) Schwiebert, Hamler, Ohio. 
   19 Grandchildren, Matthew (Virginia) Schwiebert, Cupertino, California; Bruce (Karen) Schwiebert, Holgate, Ohio; Ryan (Jennifer) Schwiebert, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Kirk (Lori) Schwiebert, Malinta, Ohio; Erik Schwiebert, Deshler, Ohio; Lee (Kate) Salisbury, Dublin, Ohio; Audra (Salisbury) Alan Koncal, Miamisburg, Ohio; Colin (Lisa) Salisbury, Chicago, Illinois; Krista (Schwiebert) Shannon Shipley, Junction City, Ohio; Adam (Carol) Schwiebert, Columbus, Ohio;

   Nine Great Great Grandchildren Jonah, Kay, and Tulip Brosneck, Holgate, Ohio; Lily and Ella Wooten, Springboro, Ohio; Maxton, Maverick, Maylee and Madilee Applegate, Springboro, Ohio.
   Funeral services will be private for the immediate family and will be live-streamed on the St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler Facebook page at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2020, with Rev. James Wenger officiating.  https://www.facebook.com/St-John-Lutheran-Church-178185218973346/
Arnold will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.  An additional celebration of Arnold's Life will be held at a later date.
