Arnulfo Noriega Obituary

Arnulfo "Arnie" Noriega
July 8, 1954 - April 14, 2025

Arnulfo "Arnie" Noriega, 70, of Belmore, Ohio, passed away Monday afternoon, April 14, 2025 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio.
He was born on July 8, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Jesus and Paula (Garza) Noriega.  Arnie grew up in a large Catholic family of 14 children.  Throughout life, he remained close to his brothers and sisters.
Arnie retired from the Holland Railroad after many years of service as a welder.  Prior to the railroad, he worked at the GM Foundry in Defiance, Ohio.
His family remembers him as a man with a dry sense of humor.  He liked to spend his time going to auctions, sales and anywhere he felt he could find too good of a deal to pass up.  His collection of eclectic and rare items were numerous.  He had an artistic side to him and could be very generous to those close to him and those in need.
He is survived by a son, Arnulfo "A.J." (Joy) Noriega, Jr.; daughter, Casandra Noriega; four grandchildren, Adam Noriega; Kaylynn (Pierre) Bugel; Ari Hindall; Ava Hindall; brothers, Armando (Maria) Noriega; Reynaldo "Rey" Noriega; Raul Noriega and sister, Olga (Eduviges) Escobedo.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Macario Noriega; Jesus Noriega; Robert Noriega; Ricardo Noriega; Adolfo Noriega; Ruben Noriega; Rolando Noriega; Ernesto Noriega and sister, Dalia Noriega.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Arnie will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.  He will be laid to rest at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
The family suggests memorials to the Leipsic Food Pantry or West Ohio Food Bank.
