Barbara Marie Dennis, 72, formerly of Hoytville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan.

She was born December 4, 1949 in Defiance, Ohio to the late Basil and Cecelia (Staudigel) Clemens.  On November 6, 1971 she married David “Archie” Dennis and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1998.

Barbara was a Defiance High School graduate and formerly worked as a secretary at the University of Findlay in the food service department.  She was primarily a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother to her family.

She will be remembered for her love of music and singing.  She enjoyed reading mystery novels and occasionally fishing.  Her family loved her for her generous nature, always putting her children and grandchildren first.

She is survived by her 3 children, Theresa (Adam) Flores; Tammy (LeRay) Coppes; David Dennis; 5 grandchildren, Tara (James) Williams; Adam Flores, Jr. (Daria Daughtery); Anthony “Tony” Coppes; David “DJ” Coppes; Alexander “Alex” Coppes; 6 great grandchildren, Trinity; Kamdyn; Colson; Tristyn; Daxton; Theo; sister, Ann Nowicki and brother, Ronald (Patricia) Clemens.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Andy Clemens and a great grandson, James Flores.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, Ohio with Pastor Annette Wellington officiating.  A fellowship luncheon will follow at the HYCO in Hoytville, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 12 noon – 2:30 p.m. prior to the services.

The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation.
