   Brenda Marie Spence, 62, of Arcadia, Ohio passed away Tuesday evening, July 2, 2024 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio.
   She was born December 19, 1961 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Philip Michael and Janet (Krebs) Cavanaugh.  Brenda grew up in Custar, Ohio and was a baptized member of St. Louis Catholic Church and attended St. Louis Catholic School.  She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1980.
   She most recently worked as a dispatcher for Ohio Logistics, Findlay, and previously worked at Marathon Specialized Products, Bowling Green.  On July 1, 2000 she married Rick Spence.
   Brenda found happiness in gardening and flowers.  She liked the noise of a good wind chime and enjoyed doing diamond artwork in her spare time.  Some of her favorite things were her dogs, frogs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, GO IRISH!
   What she will be remembered most for is her fighting spirit and love for her family.  Spending time with children and grandchildren was her greatest pleasure.  Her battle with cancer and other health issues never prevented her from smiling or sharing herself with those important to her.  Her family would say, "She loved as hard as she fought."
   She is survived by her husband, Rick; mother, Janet Cavanaugh; children, Joshua (Joy) Torres; Nicole Torres; son-in-law, Ed (Stefanie) Rich; Lindsay (Ty) Sanders; Dustin (Amanda) Spence; her 11 adored grandchildren, Felix; Lola; Zoe; Evie; Addison; Eddison; Chase; Zadyn; Brielle; Carter; Grant; siblings, Philip (Sally) Cavanuagh; Scott (Stephanie) Cavanaugh; Audra (Ron) Tolles; best friend, Darla Huffine and many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Brenda.
   She was preceded in death by her father, Michael; daughter, Stefanie Rich; brother, Larry Cavanaugh; sisters, Jennifer Cavanaugh; Michele Cavanuagh and twin brothers, Randy and Ray Cavanaugh.
   Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Fr. Francis Mariadas officiating.  A fellowship luncheon will follow at the St. Louis Catholic School basement in Custar.
   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the funeral home.
