Cletus G. Schaub, Sr.

Cletus “George” Schaub, age 68,of Deshler, Ohio a Father, Brother, Uncle and Special Mate to Lueneva, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 28. 2026 at his home.

He was born March 27, 1958, to Cletus and Bettie Jane (Miller) Schaub in Lima, Ohio. A graduate of Wapakoneta High School, he worked at the Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, Ohio, retiring after 25 years.

George loved Harley Davidson’s, the outdoors and cutting wood. He especially liked tinkering with anything that had a motor. He also very much enjoyed any type of aviation, including his collection of model airplanes.

He is survived by special partner, friend, and mate, Lueneva Newell; two sons, Cletus George Schaub Jr. of Deshler and Dustin J. Coressel of Findlay, a brother, Clinton “John” (Victoria Lynn) Schaub of Wapakoneta, Ohio and his nephew, John R. (Jen) Schaub of Wapakoneta.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Feehan- Rodenberger Funeral Home of Deshler was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
