January 2, 1960 - January 6, 2025

   David Allen Coleman, 65, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Monday, January 6, 2025, at his residence.
   He was born January 2, 1960 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late George and Betty Jane (Myers) Coleman.
   David was a 1979 graduate of Patrick Henry High School where he participated in wrestling, track and field and excelled on the football field.  
   Dave worked for Yarnell Bros. of Deshler, Ohio.  He was a hardworker and spent countless seasons driving truck during alfalfa harvests.  He previously worked for the former Tem-Cole Radish of McClure, Ohio.  In his spare time, Dave enjoyed walking his dog around the reservoirs of Deshler.  He was always a sports fan and enjoyed watching them on television.  His family remembers him as being a gentle and kind man that kept to himself, loved his children and adored his grandchildren.  
   He was previously married to Shawn (Lotz) Allport and they had four children.  He is survived by two sons, Devin Coleman; Anthony (Khrysta) Coleman; 13 grandchildren, Jasmine (Kyle) Leininger; Breanna Coleman; Abigail Cutlip; Elizabeth Girardot; Alexandria Girardot; Alexya Romo; Arrysa Romo; Ernesto Romo, III; David Micheal Coleman; Paxtyn Coleman; Beckett Coleman; Bostyn Coleman; Khree Coleman; 3 great grandchildren, Dawson Leininger; Waylon Leininger; Ellie Casebere and a brother, Rick Coleman.
   He was also preceded in death by a son, David Coleman, II; daughter, Jessica Coleman; brother, Jerry Coleman and grandson, Emersyn Coleman.
   A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Rev. Christopher Walter officiating.  Burial will follow in Grelton Cemetery, Grelton, Ohio.  Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services.
