Donald Rosebrook Obituary

Donald H. Rosebrook
March 20, 1949 - May 3, 2020

Donald Harold Rosebrook, 71, of rural Deshler, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 from injuries in a motorcycle accident.
He was born March 20, 1949 in McComb, Ohio to the late Eugene and Wilhelmina (Koehnke) Rosebrook.  On November 8, 1971 he married Bonnie Bennett at Oakdale United Methodist Church, Deshler and she survives.
Don was a 1968 Deshler High School graduate and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a Military Police officer.  When he returned home from service, he worked for the former Metal Forge Company, Deshler and the former Sherwin-Williams Company, Deshler in their maintenance departments.  Don always showed up for a hard day’s work and was employed at both plants when they closed their operations.
He was lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler; the Deshler American Legion Post #316 and the Bavarian Club.  Along with Bonnie, they enjoyed many years in the Flying Quail Antique Car Club, Fostoria; driving their old Model A Ford together.  He always took time to do things men like to do, such as fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and trap shooting.  An outgoing and talkative man, he loved his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Daniel (Misti) Rosebrook; Andrew Rosebrook (Melissa Lester); Kelly Rosebrook; grandchildren, Tavius; Ashton; Olivia; Isabel; step grandchildren, Kyliee; Xavier; Daltin; 6 great grandchildren and sister, Marlene (Wayne) Mohring and sister-in-law, Sue Rosebrook.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Michael; and two brothers, James and Stephen Rosebrook.
Funeral services will be private for the immediate family and will be live-streamed on the St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler Facebook page at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, with Rev. James Wenger officiating.
