E. Elaine Meyer, 75, of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Deshler, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday morning, September 21, 2020. She was born January 13, 1945 in Hoytville, Wood County, Ohio to the late Frank Sr and Doris (Lashaway-Swerlein) Moser. On August 19, 1973 she married Marvin L. Meyer and he preceded her in death on May 15, 2013.

Elaine was a 1963 graduate of McComb High School and graduated from the State Beauty Academy in Findlay, Ohio. She was a self-employed licensed beautician and worked in the McComb and Deshler areas. She offered childcare in their home for many years where she also enjoyed gardening, canning, and baking pies. She also provided housekeeping services at the former Oak Grove Nursing Home, Deshler, Ohio, Blakely Nursing Home, North Baltimore, Ohio, and the Lutheran Home, Napoleon, Ohio. After moving from their farm home to the Abundant Life 2 Perrysburg community, she quickly made friends. She was on the resident board and enjoyed many hours of socializing.

She was a member of Abiding Word Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, and formerly a member at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Deshler. She was also a member of the Hamler American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Julie) Meyer, Jefferson, Ohio; Pat (Greg) Brubaker, Sylvania, Ohio; grandchildren, Amanda (Seth) Metzger, Casey (Kevin) Brown, Nicholas Brubaker, Rachel Meyer, Nathan (Christina) Meyer; great grandchildren, Samantha, Abigail, Lauren, and Elizabeth Metzger, Makayla, Lexi, Kaelynn, Carina and Kasen Brown, Rowan Meyer; sisters, Dorothy Shuck, Galion, Ohio, Betty (John) Smith, North Baltimore, Ohio and brother, Russell (Martha) Moser, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Robert (Bertha) Moser; Frank Sr (Carol) Moser and brother-in-law, Richard Shuck.

Family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Abiding Word Lutheran Church, 17202 North Mercer Road, Bowling Green, Ohio, with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Paul Lange officiating. Graveside services will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler, Ohio.  There will be a memorial service at Abundant Life 2 for the residents in October.  Those attending any services will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.
