   Edwin David Wilson, 81, of Belmore, Ohio passed away early Monday morning, July 2, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare Perrysburg Center, Perrysburg, Ohio.
   He was born October 28, 1936 in Shawtown, Hancock County to the late Asa and Esther (Leader) Wilson.  On June 28, 1958 he married Patricia E. Budd and she preceded him in death on November 5, 1990.
   Edwin was one of the last workers at the former Libby McNeil Libby Cannery, Leipsic, Ohio.  He had also worked for the Campbell Soup Company, Napoleon, Ohio and the former Metal Forge Company, Deshler.  He eventually retired from the Village of Leipsic Street Department.  He was very visible, well liked and well known for his years of service in the Leipsic area.  He spent a lot of his free time on his C.B. Radio and his handle was "The Handyman".
   He is survived by a son, Duane (Ann) Wilson, Perrysburg, Ohio; daughter, Charlene Marable, Ottawa, Ohio; four grandchildren, James (Tia) Lyle; Amber Tassillo; Amanda Marable; Patricia (Josh) Muter; 5 great grandchildren, Ava Tassillo; Autumn Lyle; Rowan Lyle; Silas Harrington; Melvin Muter, and special friend, Evelyn Dobson.
   He was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Elyse Tassillo; grandson-in-law, Matthew Tassillo; sister, Coral Welty and brothers, Clark and Milton Wilson.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor H. Kearns officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
   Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
   The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimers Association or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
