Helen M. Schnabele
June 17, 1934 - January 22, 2021

   Helen Maxine Schnabele, 86, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Findlay, Ohio.
   She was born June 17, 1934 in Hancock County to the late Marlowe and Florence (VanAtta) Howard.  On December 20, 1955 she married Paul Schnabele in Findlay, Ohio and he preceded her in death on November 8, 2014. 
   She was a graduate of Mt. Blanchard High School and prior to her marriage, she was a former telephone operator in Findlay.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler.
  Helen was a homemaker and spent years on the family farm tending to the needs of her family and home.  She enjoyed spending time on the front porch, watching the trucks drive by and the beatiful scenery of the country.    Later in her life, she found great joy in her great grandchildren and seeing the future generations of her family.
   She is survived by her eight children, Robert Schnabele, Napoleon; Patricia (Daniel) Ritter, McComb; Nancy (George) Lowdermilk, Toledo, Ohio; John (Ann Armstrong) Schnabele, Napoleon, Ohio; Arthur Schnabele, Blissfield, Michigan; Theodore Schnabele, Napoleon; Sally (Gary) Justice, McCormick, South Carolina; Shirley Schnabele; 6 grandchildren, Paul (Hilary) Ritter; Kimberly (Erick) Reese; Allison (Pete) Jackel; James (Ashley Loop) Justice; Phillip Justice; Evan Schnabele; 7 great grandchildren, Daniel Reese; Abigail Reese; Andrew Reese; Joselyn Reese; Molly Jackel; Patrick Jackel and Madison Ritter; sisters, Jeanette (Clyde) Althaus, Findlay; Linda (Tom) Hazelton, Findlay; brother, Pete Howard, Findlay and sister-in-law, Barbara Schnabele, Deshler.
   She was also preceded in death by brothers, Ronald, James, Richard and Larry Howard.
   Private services will be held for the family at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home with her granddaughter, Kimberly Reese officiating.  She will be laid to rest by her husband, Paul at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
