Isa K. Kinder

Isa Kay Kinder, 85, of Port Orange, Florida and formerly of Deshler, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
She was born November 5, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late Dennis and Blanche (Brandt) Hendricks. Isa was a graduate of Springfield High School in Amsterdam, Ohio. On June 4, 1958 she married Paul Kerr and they were later divorced. On January 12, 1973 she married Bruce “Red” Kinder and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2003.
Isa worked for over 25 years at the former Metal Forge factory in Deshler. After its closing, she worked an additional 15 years and retired from the former Claude Sintz factory in Deshler.
In her spare time, Isa loved to read, paint ceramics and take care of her faithful furry pet companions.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Mike) Hill and Amy (David) Scoby; six grandchildren, Tim (Kelly) Gerken; Shannon (Amaron) Gerken; Sara (Bill) Whitman; Molly (Clint) Smith; Erin (Eli) Stacy; Jacob Scoby; four great grandchildren, Timothy (Hannah) Gerken; James (Natalie) Gerken; Adyson Whitman; Prestyn Whitman and a great great granddaughter, Ada Gerken.
She was also preceded in death by three great grandchildren, Faith, Grace and Thomas Gerken.
Her family will have private services. They suggest any memorials in memory of Isa be given to the Deshler Edwin Wood Memorial Library or the Henry County Humane Society. Cards and donations may be sent to Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, PO Box 196, Deshler, Ohio 43516.
