Jan Marie (King) Hefflinger, 79, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Gilbert, Arizona from a courageous battle with cancer.

Jan was born December 11, 1945 to Bernard and Maxine (Rader) King.  She graduated from Deshler High School, Class of 1963.  She married Jerry Hefflinger on July 9, 1966 and he preceded her in death.  She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler.

Jan worked at Campbell Soup Company and the Henry County Courthouse in Napoleon, Ohio and at several banks in Findlay, Ohio, Cygent, Ohio and when she moved to Arizona.

She is survived by a son, Jeff (Karen); daughter, Laura (Oskar); three grandchildren, Grant; Olivia and Madalin; two step granddaughters; 1 step great grandchild and a sister, Diane Zeisloft.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry King.

Jan will be buried next to her husband, Jerry at a later date in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler, Ohio.
