   Jennifer Marie Godeke, 42, of Defiance, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Brookview Healthcare Center, Defiance, Ohio.
   She was born on April 10, 1981 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Philip Godeke and Kathie (Meyer) Godeke.  She was a baptized and confirmed member of St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler. 
   Jennifer graduated in 2000 from Patrick Henry High School.  Despite living with her physical challenges from spina bifida, Jennifer kept positive and outgoing.  She enjoyed many friends at the Graceway community of Napoleon, Ohio.  She enjoyed bowling, softball, volleyball and many other social activities.  She will be missed for her bubbly personality and constant kindness towards others.
   She is survived by her mother, Kathie Godeke, father, Philip Godeke, sister, Kelly Godeke and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
   She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mervin and Genevieve Meyer and Wilbur and Velma Godeke.
   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler with Rev. James Wenger officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery and a funeral dinner will follow in the church fellowship hall.
   Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., Friday prior to the services in the church. 
   The family suggests memorials to Shriners Children's Hospitals.
