Julie was very artistic and enjoyed doing her own paintings, crafts and crocheting. She always seemed to have a project in motion. She took her talents and for a while she even operated her own silk screening business and upholstering business.
Her greatest gift and talent was her kind heart and generosity. For several years, Julie opened her home as a foster mother. Her love for children led her to foster more than 60 children over the years. She loved caring for her extended family and friends, especially opportunities for large gatherings and meals. She often would cook enough food to feed an army.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 12 noon at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Kim Repp officiating. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
