Leslie "Les" Rohrs

   Leslie Steven "Les" Rohrs, 70, of Deshler, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Briar Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore, Ohio.
   He was born October 6, 1955 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Martin and Rosella (Damman) Rohrs.  He was one of five boys and was a 1974 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and attended the Four County Vocational School where he was a graduate of the Police Academy.  On December 1, 1978 he married the love of his life, Peg (Myers) Rohrs.  She preceded him in death on October 27, 2007 and he has missed her deeply every day.
   Les worked for nearly 20 years as a police officer for the Village of Deshler.  He was known as a compassionate and friendly officer who was dedicated to his community.  He made lasting relationships with his fairness and overall kindness to his fellow citizens.  He had also worked as a maintenance man at the former Metal Forge until its closure and then he worked several years at Triple Diamond in Liberty Center, Ohio until retiring.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler.
   In his spare time, Les enjoyed fishing and building radio control airplanes and race cars.  Above all things, his devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren is what brought him the most happiness.
   He is survived by his daughters, Sheila (Brian) Sizemore; Tiffany (Nick) Lang; grandchildren, Dylan; Aubrey; Brant; Degan; Nick; Avary; brothers, Dave (Ellen) Rohrs; Dan (Marcia) Rohrs; Duane Rohrs and Jerry (Betty) Rohrs.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler with Rev. Christopher Walter officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler and a luncheon will follow at the church.
   Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday at the church.
