Linda L. Goodman

Linda Lou Goodman, 80, of Deshler, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024, at her residence.
She was born October 13, 1943, in Hancock County, Ohio to the late Lewis Bennett and Helen (Walker) Bennett. She also had a step-father, Richard Gossman.
Linda was a 1962 graduate of Leipsic High School. On May 24, 1986, she married Gene Goodman at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Deshler and they shared over 37 years together.
Linda retired from the former Sherwin Williams/Deshler Products, but her favorite job was that of being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to her family and her outward compassion and care for others was always present. She always had kind words to share and her friendliness never wavered around strangers. She will forever be loved by her friends and family.
She was a faithful woman and member of Abiding Word Lutheran Church, Bowling Green and formerly attended Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Over the years, she enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher and singing in the choir.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Donna (Gary) Badenhop; Larry (Rebecca) Breece; Christian (Charlene) Breece; Kim Bick; Terry Von Blon; 15 grandchildren, Noah Badenhop; Hannah Badenhop; Aidan Breece; Lana Breece; A.J. (Thalia) Baker; Daniel Breece; David Breece; Sarah Breece; Rachel Breece; Dakota (Kiley) Bick; Dillon Bick; Julia Von Blon; Renee (Bill) Von Phelps; Ethan Von Blon; Natalie Von Blon; 4 great-grandchildren, Isabella; Elliana; Hazel; Claire; brother, Harry Bennett; 3 sisters, Janice Siebeneck; Rebecca (Jan) Schilperoot; Deb (Toby) Byrd; brother-in-law, Jim Salisbury; sister-in-law, Glenda Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Bennett; mother and step-father, Helen and Richard Gossman; 2 sisters, Georgia Salisbury; G. Joan (Jack) Dean; brother, Charles Bennett; brother-in-law, Ken Siebeneck; sister-in-law, Sandy Bennett
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Deshler with Rev. Samuel Johnson officiating. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m., Friday at the church.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Abiding Word Lutheran Church.
