Lucia "Lucy" Quiroga

   Lucia "Lucy" Quiroga, 90, of McComb, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her residence.
   She was born November 16, 1930 in Los Indios, Texas to the late Rufino and Manuela (Cantu) Flores.  On May 5, 1951 she married Francisco "Frank" Quiroga, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1977.  
   Lucy worked as an aide at the former Oak Grove Nursing Home and also offered her services as a caregiver to friends and neighbors in their homes.  She was a faithful catholic and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler.
   She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her family remembers how resourceful she was; the memories of her love and care she provided over the years are countless.  They recall her love of flowers and how she tended to her gardens and flower pots, showering her home in the color purple.  She was an exceptional cook and made the best homemade rice and tortillas. 
   She is survived by her children, Luis (Sandy) Quiroga; Sylvia Quiroga; Mona Lisa Coppes; Dennis (Chris) Quiroga; Jesse (Sheri) Quiroga; Robbie (Tamara) Quiroga; Anthony (Rita) Quiroga; 21 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; twin sister, Virginia Perez and sister, Catalina Evirett.
   She was also preceded in death by two sons, Francisco Quiroga, Jr. and Fernando "Ferd" Quiroga; brothers, Gilbert Flores; Jose Flores and sisters, Liaza Hernandez; Bertha Flores and Aurora Flores.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler with Fr. Art Neiwadomski officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, Ohio with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
   The family suggests memorials to Bridge Hospice.
