   Margaret Mary Zachrich, 99, of Hamler, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 4, 2025 at Vancrest Health Care Center, Holgate, Ohio.
   She was born April 30, 1926 in Hamler to the late Henry and Mary (Mack) Erford.  She was one of ten children in her family.  She attended the former K-6 Porcupine Country School on County Road 8 and graduated from Hamler High School.
   On March 4, 1950 she married Harold Punches and they had six children.  Harold preceded her in death February 25, 1963.  She would marry Jerry Zachrich on February 5, 1965 and they had two children and spent 37 years together before he preceded her in death on June 7, 2002.  She was a devoted mother and homemaker; member of the Zion Church of God, Hamler and the Wide-A-Wake Club.
  She is survived by seven of her children, Kay (Robert) Blair; Kevin (Connie) Punches; Lou Ann "Toot" Wensink; Pam (David) Sunderman; Jacki (Brent) Behrman; Craig (Beth) Zachrich; Cathy (Roy) Tooman; daughter-in-law, Kathy Punches; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Reese and sister-in-law, Mary Erford.
   She was also preceded in death by her eldest son, Randy "Buzz" Punches; and siblings, Lenore Gerschutz; Marvelle Clausen; Henry "Mack" Erford; John Erford; Reynold Erford; Jean Hammer; Art Erford and Mary Ann Gebers.
   Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Jerry Cooke officiating.  The family will have a private burial service at Marion Township Cemetery, Hamler.
   Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday prior to the services at the funeral home.
   The family suggests memorials to Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.
