Martinia "Tinia" Mahlman
October 8, 1958 - June 25, 2022

   Martinia Gail "Tinia" Mahlman, 63, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio.
   She was born October 8, 1958 in Defiance, Ohio to Paul and Grace (Farris) Smith.  On October 18, 1986 she married Joel Mahlman at Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler.
   Tinia was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed caring for her family and looked forward to any opportunity to spend time with them.  She enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers around the home.  Along with her husband, they enjoyed camping and visiting the state parks throughout Ohio, always taking their fur-babies, Beemer and Garfield.  When things settled down, she liked to get a good book and read.
   She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler; the Bartlow Township Historical Society and the Deshler Garden Club.
   She is survived by her husband, Joel; her mother, Grace Smith; daughter/sister, Leanzy (Mark) Bailey; son, Joseph Taylor; daughter, Christinia (Brandon) Curry; daughter, Mary Mahlman; 5 grandchildren, Connor; Brandon; Rebecca; Gregory; Cayley and sister, Audrey (Dave) Roth.
   She was preceded in death by her father, Paul and sister, Linda Smith.
   Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler with Rev. E. Barbara Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Thursday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m., Friday at the church.
   The family suggests memorials to Henry County South Ambulatory District or Deshler Edwin Wood Memorial Library.
   Tinia's family would like to mention that in death, Tinia chose to give another family the gift of life through organ donation with Life Connections of Ohio.
