Nancy D. Weber
January 9, 1952 - June 28, 2024
Nancy Dale Weber, 72, of Deshler, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, June 28, 2024 at The Meadows of Leipsic.
She was born January 9, 1952 in Findlay, Ohio to the late H. Dale and Leola (Browneller) Barney. Nancy was a member of first graduating class of Patrick Henry High School in 1970. She would then attend Cosmetology school in Lima, Ohio.
On May 13, 1978 she married Jeffrey Weber at the Deshler Presbyterian Church and they have shared over 46 years together.
Nancy worked as a hairdresser for many years at Carol's Beauty Shop in Hamler and also privately in the Deshler area. She retired after 15 years at Wood Lane Industries in Bowling Green, Ohio. Here she assisted in providing services for many people she had grown to care deeply for.
She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church, Hamler and enjoyed attending Bible Study. Her favorite past time may have been her creative side. Nancy loved arts and crafts, quilting and painting. She was gifted at taking things and making them look beautiful.
Throughout her life, she always carried herself to be social and friendly. Rarely would Nancy shy away from a conversation and her comments and gestures were always kindhearted and with the intent of building a friendship. She will be missed and cherished by all those whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff; daughter, Mindalyn (Mark) Sickmiller; 5 grandchildren, Emily Caplinger (Micah Woo); Jakob Caplinger (Kat Pauken); Paige Sickmiller (Xavier Aguirre); Bailee Sickmiller; Tyler Sickmiller; great grandson, Joseph and 1 "On the way"; sisters, Wanda (Ron) Challen; Terry Gierke; Holly (Louis) Cornelious and brother, Steven (Deborah) Barney.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Allison Weber; infant daughter, Elizabeth Weber; son, David Weber and sister, Roberta "Bobbie" Barney.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Harvest Fellowship Church, Hamler with Rev. James Erven officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler and from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday at the church.
