Raymond R. Bremer
June 10, 1945 - February 3, 2026

   Raymond Rudolph Bremer, 80, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 3, 2026 at the CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
   He was born on June 10, 1945 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Alfred "Slim" and Evelyn (George) Bremer.
   Ray was a 1965 graduate of Deshler High School.  At the age of 18, Ray went to work at the former Deshler Products/Sherwin Williams factory.  He stayed here for well over 50 years and retired in 2005 to return home and help care for his parents.
   He was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Deshler and their former sister church, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Weston, Ohio; and the Maumee Valley Sportsman Club, Malinta.
   He was a bit of an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting rabbits and squirrels.  He shared a close relationship with his brother, Frank and was always willing to spend time with his nieces and nephews.  He will be remembered as a loving brother and uncle.
   Ray is survived by his sister, Judith (Mike) Benner; sister-in-law, Marilyn Bremer; nieces and nephews, Cynthia (Mike) Brinkman; Kristine Cole; William (Ausha) Bremer; Emily (Ryan) Ulrich; Karen Bremer; Brooke (David) Amspoker and Christopher (Angela) Bremer.
   He was preceded in death by two brothers, James (Lois) Bremer; Franklin Bremer; and nephew, Paul Bremer.
   A private graveside service will be held for the family at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Deshler with Rev. Kurtis Freimuth officiating.  The family suggests memorials to the church.
