Robert "Bob" Schnabele

   Robert James "Bob" Schnabele, 65, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021 at Northcrest Rehab and Nursing Center, Napoleon, Ohio.  He had been a resident there for just over two years.
   Bob was born August 7, 1956 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Paul and Helen (Howard) Schnabele.  He was the first born child of Paul and Helen's eight children.  
   He graduated in 1976 from Patrick Henry High School and raised as a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler.  Bob was friendly and well-liked around the Deshler community.  When he was a resident at the former Oak Grove Nursing Home, he was often seen on his daily walks up-town to the gas station.  He would often visit with members of the community and could be found sitting at the nearby picnic table enjoying his fountain pop.  He will be missed by his family and friends.
   He is survived by his siblings, Patricia (Daniel) Ritter, McComb, Ohio; Nancy (George) Lowdermilk, Toledo, Ohio; John Schnabele, Napoleon, Ohio; Arthur Schnabele, Blissfield, Michigan; Theodore Schnabele, Napoleon; Sally (Gary) Justice, McCormick, South Carolina; Shirley Schnabele; 6 nieces and nephews, Paul (Hilary) Ritter; Kimberly (Erick) Reese; Allison (Pete) Jackel; James (Ashley) Justice; Phillip Justice; Evan Schnabele; 7 great nieces and nephews, Daniel Reese; Abigail Reese; Andrew Reese; Joselyn Reese; Molly Jackel; Patrick Jackel and Madison Ritter
   Funeral services will be private for the family and Bob will be laid to rest next to his parents at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
