   Shana Rae Mueller, 42, of Kettering, Ohio and formerly of Hamler, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at her residence.
   She was born on July 27, 1979 in Napoleon, Ohio to Charles and Virginia (Irving) Mueller.
   Shana was a 1998 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and received an associate's degree from Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio.  She had formerly worked at the Meijer Store in Defiance, Ohio and the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant in Kettering. 
   She was also a former EMT and attended Fairhaven Church in Dayton and The Way Community Church of Deshler, Ohio with her parents.
   In early adulthood, Shana was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa which disabled her vision and caused her to be legally blind.  Even through her affliction, she still found the courage and strength to live independently.  She was active with the National Federation of the Blind and the Thrive Foundation.  She found ways to volunteer and continue to find happiness.  Her family will forever remember her beautiful singing voice; her generous, giving nature and kind heart towards others.
   Shana is survived by her parents, Charles & Virginia Mueller; grandmother, Phyllis Irving; sister, Jill (Josh) Gebhart; brothers, Ryan Mueller; Trent Mueller; nieces and nephews, Kennedy; Jerek; Grant; Sloane; and aunts and uncles; Joan (Alvin) Hoffman; Chuck (Sue) Irving; Pat (Sue) Irving; Michaelene Kaiser; Pam (John) Budde.
   She as preceded in death by grandparents, Charles Irving; Charles and Lorna Mueller and aunt, Arvella Mueller.
   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Justin Deuel officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
   Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, prior to the services at the funeral home.
