   Tara Denise Meyer, 48, of Defiance, Ohio passed away Friday afternoon, April 17, 2020 at Brookview Healthcare Center, Defiance, Ohio after a courageous battle with cancer.
   She was born September 27, 1971 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Jerry Meyer and Karen Flew.  
   Tara was a Patrick Henry High School graduate.  She most recently worked at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Bowling Green, Ohio as a shift manager.  She previously worked at the store in Napoleon before transferring.  She met many people and liked her job and her relationships with co-workers.
   She was a baptized and confirmed member of St. John Lutheran Church, Deshler.  She enjoyed doing many arts and crafts, especially crocheting and needle work.  Throughout life, Tara always kept a positive outlook.  Even during her fight with cancer the past two years, she remained happy and enjoyed her true blessings, most importantly her family.
   She is survived by her son, Tyler Meyer (Kaylee Kovacs); her mother, Karen (Joe) Schilt; her father, Jerry (Donna) Meyer; grandson, Mason; step grandchildren, Dixie and Bailee; brother, Derek (Amy) Meyer; half-brother, Craig (Laurie) Meyer; half-sister, Keli (Jay) Navarre; step-sisters, Heather Becker; Jennifer (Matt) Becher; Amber (Salomon) Aguilar and many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonhard & Alma Meyer and Arthur & Edith Flew.
   Private graveside services are being handled for the immediate family.  She will be laid to rest at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Deshler.
