Tom Alvin Panning, age 61, of Custar, Ohio passed away on November 19, 2022 at NorthcrestRehab and Nursing Center.  He was born on September 9, 1961 to the late Art & Mary Jane (Haughawout) Panning.

Tom graduated from Patrick Henry High School and was employed at Campbell Soup Company for 41 years.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Sons of the American Legion, and the Napoleon Moose Lodge.

Tom is survived by his son, Phillip; sister, Deborah (Alan) Dishong, brother, Marty (Connie) Panning, and sister-in-law, Linda Panning (Mike Garringer) along with many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Lennie Panning.

Tom had a heart as big as Texas and made friends wherever he went (reaching out as far as Missouri).  He lived his life the way he wanted to live.  Per Tom’s wishes there will be no funeral services.
