William "Gravy" McCance
January 16, 1947 - July 13, 2018
William Earl Asa "Gravy" McCance, 71, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Friday evening, July 13, 2018 with his family by his side at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born January 16, 1947 in Holgate, Ohio to the late Richard and Virginia (Doda) McCance. On July 24, 1965 he married Patricia "Pat" (LeVeck) McCance and they shared nearly 53 years together.
He was a hard working truck driver for over 45 years. He drove for the former William F. Hoops Trucking of Deshler, Ohio and briefly for Miller Brothers Trucking, Napoleon, Ohio. He was a man of many things and skilled to do just about anything. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, however his favorite things was watching and caring for his grandchildren, often times from the comfort of his swing. He was a baptized member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler, Ohio and a member of the Son's of American Legion Post 316, Deshler.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diana; grandson, Austin McCance and brother, James McCance.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Rev. Douglas DeWitt officiating. A fellowship luncheon will immediately follow at the Deshler American Legion Post.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
